It was such a cool experience going to an old timey soda shop! The food is good. Their milkshake are amazing! And their sodas are good too! Overall, it was a fun experience. I totally recommend it.

I had to stop on my way past Chugwater! Such a cool little place and come on....it's the oldest soda fountain in Wyoming that's still operating as a soda fountain!! It's 110 years old! They serve delicious handmade shakes, I had Huckleberry of course and some delicious homemade chili to go. I didn't take pictures as I got there 10 minutes before they closed and it looked like there was an employee birthday party going on, but they were very gracious and said I could sit down and have my meal and not to rush! Very friendly staff and makes you feel like neighbors! Don't pass this place up! It's 2 minutes off the interstate! Well worth the stop!

love the shakes. interesting story, too. someone took over the place a few years back and brought it back to live. decoration is brilliant with original flavor and very tasteful. great business idea ..the state park generates a lot of traffic.

My bride and I were driving north on our way to Montana. Thought we would stop here to check it out. As soon as we walked up, we were greeted by an older gentleman at the door. He was super friendly and let us in. He talked about the place like he worked there. Brought us a menu and explained a little about the food. Turns out, he was just another (regular) customer. He met a couple of other guys there. All were talkative with us strangers. We only ordered a Huckleberry Ice Cream Soda to share. We got there about 8:30 in the morning on a Sunday. The shop was neat and the Soda was good. My wife bought two books, coffee, and some seasoning. We talked to one of the owners. He roasts the coffee on ranch and his wife is the author. One book is a cookbook of his grandma's recipes. They sell more items online, like honey and jerky. We already made plans to stop by again!
